That copperhead is dope looking

What’s the finish on that 92x?

Nistan finish on frame and slide surfaces . The Nistan treatment involves plating the steel surfaces with a tin (65%) and nickel (35%) alloy, giving the surfaces a bright look and excellent corrosion resistance.

Nice looks awesome.

I’m a little late to this thread. I’m a fan of CZ shotguns - great value in my opinion.
I have these:
CZ 1012 - 12 ga inertia driven autoloader
CZ 720 G2 - 20 ga gas operated autoloader
CZ Quail - 20 ga over/under (same as Drake but shorter length of pull)
CZ 628 - 28 ga pump action

will be getting these soon:
CZ 620 - 20 ga pump action
CZ Drake - 12 ga over/under

This is a CZ75 Pre-B I bought like 11-12 years ago, when there was a bunch of surplus CZ75’s on the market. It’s one of those in-between years of CZ75’s when it’s a Pre-B that basically a CZ75B minus the firing pin block. It’s the same frame and trigger guard as a 75B, same slide and serrations as a 75B minus the FPB, takes either Pre-B or B magazines. It’s a 1993 model year gun and if I’m remembering correctly that was the last year it said “Cal 9 Para” instead of “9 Luger,” and the last year of “Made in Czech Republic” instead of Czechoslovakia. It’s a good gun that’s never failed to feed, fire or eject a round on me. I did a few mods to it, like the competition hammer, some of the springs in it I replaced, and it didn’t come with the rubber CZ grips.

Thanks!

Like is typical with CZ75’s it’s a nice shooting gun, but it’s not the most elegant. It’s got plenty of holster wear, and it had definitely been used by the time I got it. I believe it was a Czech police issued gun if I remember correctly. I bought it surplus from Wideners back in the day when they sold surplus guns.

I just wish I had bought the SP01 I’ve been saying I’d one day get for years now before they got to be like $800+. Remember when they sold in the $450-$500 range? Makes a SP01 Shadow purchase seem more practical.

Time out. I think the modern CZ’s say made in Czech Republic and not Czechoslovakia. Maybe mine was a first year of saying made in Czech Republic instead of Czechoslovakia. It was something like that. It still calls 9mm Parabellum (Para) instead of Luger though.

Went and got it from my FFL last night:

It can be summed up in One Word: “:face_with_symbols_over_mouth::face_with_symbols_over_mouth: Schmoooove….”

Everything. Action. Trigger. Mag.

I’ve wanted one of these for about 15-20 years, and the opportunity just never came up when I had money for one. Until Now, when a Light came down from the Heavens….

Nice. Careful if this is your first CZ all other guns afterward will feel inferior. Whatever you do, don’t get it Cajunized. :+1:
