Is there a CZ magazine compatibility list out there somewhere?

It seems like I get more questions then answers looking at CZ pistols.
I have a CZ p-7
I know the CZ P-10 mag fits the P-7
I have heard but can’t confirm it also fits CZ P-1 and/or the CZ 75s that come with 15 round mags

I’ve look at CZ USA but can’t find a cross compatibility chart
Is there a CZ magazine cross compatibility list out there somewhere?

I would check the CZ forums on arfcom and see what is there. Just google the following:

CZ magazine site:ar15.com

I found this;
"Really, it’s not a mess:

All modern 75, 85, P-01, (metal framed guns) take the same magazine family.

P-07 and -09 take a different mag family than the metal framed guns (they are wider), but the mag catch is in the same location so you can use 75 mags in a P-07 they are just loose. (I wish they had used the same mags, lost a round and made the grip smaller but what do I know)

P-10c uses P-07 mags with an extra notch cutout to accommodate the ambi mag release on the P-10c.

All newer P-07 and -09 mags have notches for both guns."

Sounds a bit messy for being “Not a Mess” LOL

Don’t forget the Tac-Sports which use another magazine family that will only fit Tac-Sports.

Then you also have the Kadet conversions that use magazines specific to the host frame.

I would like to see the P07, P09 and P10 magazine family take over in the future.

Exactly, It just seems like if you are putting out a gun with a 14-16 round mag. use the Mag. that is already out there and liked.

That said, maybe there are real reasons (Above my pay scale) why they need to be different. So CZ should make a master list.

So do the Gen 1 P-07 magazines work in the Gen 3 P-09C Nocturne? I have multiple 1st iteration 9mm magazines that I would just love if they worked in the P-09C…

The hilarious thing about CZ mags is, they’re the second-most-ubiquitous magazine on the planet, after Glock - they are the basis for something like near two dozen different firearms… and CZ75 mags don’t fit “modern” CZ pistols….

It is all calculated to make you to have to keep buying CZ mags. Sig did the exact same thing when it came out with the new Sig P210. Instead of using the exact same mag as the origional military and LE P210 (P49) did they used the same magazine but made it about 1 to 2mm longer so that you can’t use the new mags on the origional P210 because it is just a hair too long to lock into the original P210. The new P210 has the traditional frame mounted mag release and the origional P210 has a heel release but that doesn’t affect the magazine being able to be used by the original P210 just the length.

I was able to modify a new P210 mag to use in my origional P49 but it isn’t the best solution. If you can actually find an original Swiss or German P210 mag get ready to pay around $200 to $300 per magazine. Yes I said that right, per magazine. That is what really sucks. Luckily I was able to get my hands on 6 origional German mags. It wouldn’t be so bad if Sig still imported the original P210 mags but they don’t anymore. Trying to buy from a European country that has original P210 mags most won’t ship to the US because of our laws and customs. This is why when I buy a firearm especially an older collectable one I go ahead and get spare mags for it when they are available if possible. It is nice to have some mags to barter with also when you are looking for rare and expensive mags.

From a shooting buddy checking mag fitment this morning based off of an above post.

"Confirmed.
The P-07 will take the 75 mags… as well as the Canik mags.

Canik will only accept Canik."

The new P10 magz also fit the Arex Delta 2, I’ll check later if that’s vice versa
