So I had an extra gen 5 17 slide kicking around so I decided to build a Dagger out of it. I scored the frame on sale knowing I had to make some minor modifications so if it didn’t work out I wouldn’t feel too bad. I used a long slide adapter to cover the spring, a gen3 to gen 5 spring adapter and a gen 3 g19 recoil spring to make everything work with my g17 gen 5 slide and barrel. I also had to do some minor clearancing to accommodate the larger diameter of the of the spring seat on the nose of the gen 5 slide. Other than that it works perfectly for me, but I’m just some random dude so make modifications at your own risk lol.
