Dagger 5.7

If you figure the "Full " Size uses the Compact Dagger slides there is an Economy of Scale with the shared parts that can be used in 2 models and less waste, Then maybe they can make a G17 size and maybe an inverted 19x style

The rumor is April. Maybe someone with PSA can confirm this. Please!

Just can’t make you happy.

Personally, I’m thrilled that PSA prioritized the Micro Dagger (G43X) ahead of a “true” Full-Size Dagger (G17). From what we know of the Micro Dagger, it’s going to be an absolute winner! I predict it’s going to be even more popular than the existing Compact Dagger.

You haven’t spoken to my wife have you?

Agreed! I honestly did not know PSA was working on all these different iterations of the Dagger. Variety is the spice of life! And from the pictures on this forum the Micro looks to my uneducated eye like a challenger to the G43/Shield party. Maybe some other brands, but I am not all that familiar with them. I can only speak about what I barely know.

G43X, but yes.

The Full Size Dagger is supposed to be more of a 19X/ 45 style not true 17 size

I’m not sure about the proposed release date for the Full Size. @Anthony_PSA do you know, or @Josiah_PSA?

Currently the Full Size dagger is expected to be released this year, though we don’t have an exact release date yet. For those interested in the Full Size stay tuned for more updates during the Gathering in March.

Are there any specs available for the 5.7? Barrel length, size, weight?

Well that’s depressing. I’ll stick with the April rumor for the full-size frame.

Chad Wylie said six to nine months (July - October) for the Micro Dagger.
Jamin McCallum said nine months (October) for the .22 LR Compact Dagger.

I understand all of the timeframes are approximate and subject to change.

PSA had a colored (FDE) Compact Dagger frame at SHOT Show. While we’re at, any date on that?

ETA: And when we’re talking “Full-Size Dagger”, I want to make sure we’re talking about the Compact Slide / Full-Size Frame 9x19 mm and not the 5.7 Rock.

Aside from the price point, having a threaded barrel option will be huge for PSA. I think it’s like another $350 for a threaded barrel for my FN Five Seven pistol that I paid $1,100 for lol.
Granted I love having the option of a cold hammer forged chrome lined barrel so I won’t get rid of my FN but the PSA 5.7 might have to be a thing down the road too.

I like it! Been on the fence about a 5.7 (pistol, that is, since I’ve already been there, done that in the HEMI department!)

But I have seen the Ruger variant for about $550 a couple times in the past few months and haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Mostly because ammo price and availability.

If PSA can produce the quality built into this pistol as I’ve enjoyed in the various rifles, at a price that has me buying their 5.7 over Ruger’s, then I’ll buy it.

Just hope shipping by then is better than current?!

Been waiting 2 weeks for a Dagger upper that was supposed to be in stock……! (And no one answers emails anymore??)

Do we have a release date for this one yet, or even the Jakle for that matter?

They dont do hard dates. The Jakl 5.56 is currently in production as stated by Jamin.

Very soon! I should have my 5.7 Rock next week for testing and evaluation. I’ll be sure to post about it. We’re very active in the Facebook groups as well.
