Dagger gripe

Psa annoys me because they will have a popular gun and be like “I know we can’t keep them in stock…… so now is a great time to invest resources to make literally over 100 variants” please invest more resources in production. I can rattle can the dagger slide green myself, just give me a chance to buy it. Thank you.

i know many feel your pain man… just know they are being produced and keep trying.

I have been thinking about the same thing. Economies of scale would give higher output when producing one item instead of many. Like Henry Ford and his choice of black model T cars.

I haven’t seen the two tone models in stock so I’m not sure what the selling price is. I hope they are not using the new color choices as a way to justify increasing the price. I understand that PSA is in a difficult position because they promised a price of $299 before the apocalypse and they felt for the sake of customer loyalty they needed to honor that price. But in reality they could be charging $399 and it would still be a good deal right now.

My genuine hope is that PSA doesn’t start selling higher priced models and let the base model go out of stock in order to increase their profits.

i agree with you there. I dont think they will do this as it will ruin their rep in my opinion on the dagger. the dagger is doing so well so far i would hate for something like that to happen . It is ok to release higher priced models with different things, as long as they keep the base model in stock and available.

Just wanted to follow up on this conversation. It looks like the Cerakote models are selling for $349. That’s the same price that was advertised for the threaded barrel version.

It’s still too early to tell about availability.

Well PSA’s web site tends to be updated every day at 4pm. thats usually when they load up the new loads of Daggers, and put them out for sale. i know traditionally its every friday for sure, but they also use other days as well. Yeah i did notice the price of the ceracoated ones were 349. its still a smoking deal. I however prefered the black one so thats what i got. I also was frusterated for a few months there cause the black bag for the dagger was always sold out yet they had the other colors available from the first day they released them… but no black… and that was before they were offering the ceracoated slide ones. so what did i do? i waited, patiently as i co uld, and guess what… now theres the black bag available as well as the other color ones… so i ordered one of them too. that bag really makes the dagger kit complete. so much better to carry than the box it ships in. Love it. Its similar to my FNX 45 bag that came with it, but different at the same time. as its not as big. I highly recommend anyone who has a dagger to order a bag of their choice of color for the gun to carry it in.

anyways, i’ll digress and move on now.
thanks.

My Dagger pretty much just lives in one of my Glock holsters, typically either on my kit or on my hip. I love that compatibility with Glock stuff!
