I was wondering if anyone knows a good inexpensive rail mount light (with strobe) and green laser combo for a new (awesome) Dagger.
Forget the laser and get a streamlight (tlr series). If you don’t have nods lasers are pointless unless you just want the cool factor.
I second the TLR series. Some do have a laser/light combo, and most have the strobe feature. Be wary about the strobe/laser feature and some of the Tactical Tommy instructor videos. In a dark spot, the strobe will be almost as blinding and disorienting to you as it is what you’re pointing it at unless your outside in a field somewhere. While it can aid in target acquisition and not taking up space using a light in your off hand, it also provides a spotlight to make your firearm and shooting hand an easy to identify target. Not saying its a bad idea, I have lights on about half of my pistols, but I’m also a fan of carrying a light in my support hand and using my forearm as a rest instead of a supporting grip. This puts the light off to my side for anyone looking at me.
I’ll third the TLR. I have one on my daily carry G43. It’s bright enough without blinding everybody in the zip code (including me), has easy access for on/off (preset to my preference) and looks like it’s molded right to the gun. I can’t conceive of a better option for me. An added benefit is that it helps to spread out the shape of the pistol so it doesn’t print nearly like it would without it, but rather looks more like a wallet in my back pocket.
Go with the Streamlight TLR 1 like everyone has said. I have probably 25 of them. I have a few Surefire at twice the price and still like the TLR series better. The only reason I have the Surefire is at the time they were brighter for my long guns. Now Streamlight has caught up with them.
you know you hav emore invested in your lights there than many do in their whole collection? ROTFL.
It’s crazy when you look back and realize how much you’ve spent on things like lights, glass and Magpul.
Glass and lights are two things not to skimp on. Besides barrel and trigger, that is the expensive part of my rifles.
Better to have and not need than to need and not have. I have lights on most of my modern handguns and long guns. You don’t realize just how many lights that you have bought until you sit down and look at your firearm list.
I totally agree with you. We think exactly alike.

Theyre Chinese-made, like everything else, but take a look at tacticon.com. He has some pretty bright light/laser combos for a very reasonable price. They’re great to deal with, too. I have a couple, but I haven’t shot with them mounted, so I cant endorse their longevity.
He has 15% off store-wide, right now. I’ve seen as much as 40%, but only once.
Amen to that. words to live by. i agree my inventory list/database always makes me sit back and think a lot. its like WOW.. i must be crazy. lol.
The trick is to accept that people my see you as crazy or you may see yourself as crazy. It doesn’t matter at all in the long run, just accept it and you will live a happier life. Am I crazy to have spent an ungodly amount of money on my hobby? If it gives me pleasure and makes me happy then how do you put a price on that? It is also a excellent investment source that is a liquid asset if need be. Usually when things get bad and people get scared our investments increases in value when many other investments value drop like a rock.
I took this TLR-6 off my Glock and put it on the Dagger, at 300 lumens not supper bright. I do not care for the laser, I wanted something compact.
Thanks Guitar Guy I appreciate it.
Seriously, I have never thought about that so thanks Josh!
Awesome advice. These are things that I never even considered!
Thanks 1911…you should have a sale on here! I would not have a problem buying one.
Thanks a lot, Unfortunately I am disabled and on a tiny income so I appreciate all the advice I can get!
Wow that is a fine fit. Looks like it is part of the gun itself. Thanks I appreciate the pic because I have never seen one.
