Hello everyone. I have a Dagger Micro with 350+ rounds through it. I have two magazines. The slick mag that came with the gun, and the black one I purchased separately. When I use the slick mag, the slide will lock open with one round left in the magazine. This doesn’t happen every time, but it happens most of the time. I’m thinking it’s the magazine. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or might have any insight.
What ammo and which specific model? Are you accidentally engaging the lock with your grip/thumb?
I was using CCI Blazer, with brass casings, in a Dagger Micro with the Extreme Carry Cut slide. Don’t believe I’m engaging the lock. It only happens with that specific magazine, and always with the last round.
When fully loaded does the mag base bulge a little?
I will have to check, but I have tried it both fully loaded, and with five rounds in it. Very strange. I just picked up two more magazines. I will try it with those as well. Btw, I appreciate your responses.

Just a quick update. I went to the range today. This time with four magazines. Only had the problem with the original. I have submitted a warranty request to PSA, as I feel I have a defective magazine.

That could be the case. They have made some slight tweaks to some of the mags.
