Recently I installed a brand new timney trigger into my dagger.
Everything works fine with it except the slide stop refuses to go down, even when fully loaded.
It’s locked into place with the trigger pin and everything else works fine but for some reason it will not stay down.
Any insight or tips would be greatly appreciated.
sadly daggers are known to have issues with Timmany triggers

Is there a lot of friction that you can feel when pushing it down? I know if the spring gets caught under/on the other side of locking block, it will do that, but that’s not the case here.
If you a feel a lot of friction, use a different colored sharpie on all the touching bits, reassemble, move it a bit and see where it’s worn off. Trim to fit if you desire.
Or give the OEM trigger a chance, they are really good.

Thanks I’ll try that. There is a lot of tension. I think it might be the spring getting caught on the locking block. I’ll try to fix it and report back.
It is supposed to catch the way that’s shown in the pics. That keeps the spring tensioned. Now if it slips too far and the end of that spring isn’t visible, that is a problem. The 80% Arms GST-9’s do that a lot, at least the original ones.
Ok not sure what happened on the forum’s end there…
