Well the funny thing is…She is on her way to FLA today for vacation with our 3 “grown” children…without me. (Um…some of us actually work for a living…at a job…where you have to go to the job…and do actual work…to make actual money…so that your family can afford to go on vacation…without you)
SO really, the amount of money I saved in food and beer for a week in God-forsaken central Florida…
I could EASILY pick up a pistol or two for that savings. See dear…I SAVED us money.
She mostly supports me in my habit…doesn’t ever complain about how much I spend or how many I have. (If she actually knew EITHER of those numbers I’ might be in trouble though)
Hmmm…thinking REALLY hard about that Canik now. It’s been on my wish list for a year+.
And it was HER just last night saying it IS still Father’s day week. 
Also funny that last night she asked to put her cash stash in my safe…which I did…and she said…“It sure looks like ALOT more guns in there than the last time I looked”. To be honest…that was true…and she counted really badly and missed the pistols behind the pistols soooooo she REALLY wouldn’t notice one more in there

The Wife bought a Sig P226 last night, so she doesn’t have much to say about anything I buy…
(And by “The Wife” I actually mean The Wife - and not my Imagination, or me “Buying The Wife a firearm for me” scenario)
I “never” buy any firearms or ammo. It is always the wife that does so. Now, I am guilty of buying her shoes and purses though. At least that is what she says. 
I do kind of actually feel bad about buying another gun…
Feel bad for my local FFL that is. Because I’ve bought SO MANY guns and parts from PSA and transferred through him, and never buy the guns from him. I really do like supporting the local guys, but damn…$100 is a $100. (more like $200-$300)
And $100 is like…100 rounds of .308…
or 165 rounds of 300BO…
or 200 rounds of .223…
or 200 rounds of 5.7…
or 165 rounds of .45acp…
or 333 rounds of 9mm…
or 800 rounds of .22
etc, etc
Now if my FFL would GIVE me 200 rounds of ammo if a purchased a gun from him…

My LGS rarely has much of anything I need. Cool guys. But also, Gen2 Pmags for 20 is more than I can bear, literally and figuratively. Too bad, because I still don’t love internet shopping.
I’m Fortunate in that, I have a really good relationship with my FFL, and he cuts me Deals on items all the time.
I’m probably at a 2.5:1 ratio of Xfers to Purchases. And I’m about to talk to him (when I go in for this, likely!) about getting me something else.
