I have an AK-V already, and I saw the Draco 9S for what seemed like a good price so I picked it up. Not too keen on the blonde wood but it also takes standard AKM furniture like the AK-V so there’s plenty of choices. My AK-V has the PSA Custom aluminum m-lok handguard on it so I opted for the black poly handguard and matching grip from WBP on this little Draco. Added a left folding brace from CNC Warrior and it’s ready for the range.
Is that the folding Voodoo stock you did?
Yes.
The blonde wood was pretty plain, if it was darker or had a more interesting grain and had a matching color grip I might have kept it on. Good excuse to buy another one and build it differently! They’re cheap enough when they’re on sale.
Wondering about the shark fin hand guards, are they considered a VFG?

Shark fin and dong front hand guards are not vfg’s unless they are 90° perpendicular to the bore per atf. If they have a slight angle they are afgs.
i like both colors honestly. the way you did it up with the black makes it look awesome and tacticool, but the blonde would have done well with that triangle brace as well. Like i said i like them both color wise. well done. I still need an Ak-v according to Guitar Guy. i have an ArV already, so its hard for me to get up the wanting for the akv, other than its a lot of fun with the aLG trigger… so… maybe ill pick one up some day.
