Everyone has their own opinion of what makes us great and not so great. Opinions are like a$$holes - we all have one and they all stink, to at least one person they do anyway

Let’s be civil. @brillranch made some good points. We are not perfect and never will be as long as both sides of the aisle do whatever the hell they want instead of listening to the people. However, we are great and enjoy far more freedoms than other countries and you will be hard pressed to find a country like ours.
Yep. I for one refuse to subscribe to division and hatred. Every generation has challenges. As Americans we have more that unites us than divides. I chose a side years ago. I am for American exceptionalism and liberty. I prefer equal opportunities for all not equal (equality) outcomes for all. 
Not sure what in his life experience he has suffered……but DillaBranch is a sad creature. I grew up dirt poor. My dad was an army enlisted man so every few years we were moved by the government to someplace new. As time passed….we as a family did a little better each year. We were never so well off that we didn’t value fishing and hunting….as those always put meat on the table…leaving extra income for other things in our life.
But More important ……the experience of living in so many different parts of the United States and living overseas brings a VALUABLE Perspective on how we value our life here in the United States. Our USA is the World best place to be……go ask any of those 20 plus thousand of immigrants waiting to be processed into the United States. There is a reason why everyone dreams of coming to the USA.
DILLYBranch has no perspective he has no moral compasses has never lived in other countries I can say this with confidence. As an adult I have lived and worked in approximately 30 different countries and without a doubt…our United States IS the greatest country on earth. We are not perfect…but we are far better than any other place. We have to show DILLYBranch some mercy……he has NO idea what life is like in other countries. In his mind other countries are some utopian resorts……he lacks …Perspective.

Wait until Texas and Oklahoma shows up in the SEC. It’ll be the Black and Blue Conference. Everybody will get beat up. It’ll be like: "Come on in ‘Hook em Horns’ and ‘Sooners’ " Welcome to the grinder. Every game could be better than a bowl game. IMO-There is no way NCAAF will allow this to last. The SEC needs Clemson as well. Abolish the ACC and put them into the SEC. They would be measured.
I think Oklahoma will be pretty competitive from the get go. Texas has been losing 5* recruits mostly to the SEC for decades. As much as I don’t like them and think they’re overrated, they’ll probably end up being competitive too.
Couldn’t imagine Clemson in the mix . . .

like always we’re in a rebuild year. new coach and all that. 
I think its rediculous about having texas and oklahoma in the sec. shouldnt happen they’re not in the south east. Clemson should have been in years ago though, then we’d see how they fare against real teams each year.

Texas and Oklahoma are in the South… and East. Ask the good people in Texarkana.
Utah Colorado and Arizona are all landlocked yet in the Pacific 12. The Big 12 isn’t regional in name, but was mostly south central and WV is in. The AAU is all over the map. Louisville is pretty landlocked too to be in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
I got it all figured out. We just need a 4 state conference of Mississippi, Alabama Georgia and Florida versus everybody else. It’s the Mad Dawg-Elephant-Gators versus the United States.
I don’t say this often, but WDE.
To beat Florida in the swamp in itself was bowl quality. Florida Gators are not done yet. RTR
