Cool Gun Site is an excellent website for all US Military firearms dating back to the Revolutionary War. It has tons of info on the weapons themselves. It breaks down all of individual firearms by different ways including the different wars. You have each model with specific info on the manufacturers, models, collectablility, what to look for when buying a used firearm and how to grade a firearm. It really breaks it down for you so you know exactly what are buying. It tells you what to look for that is good, the common problems associated with the firearm, proof marks, the preferred years, common problems, function checks and it has some downloadable files also. I can’t tell everyone all my secrets though because then you all wouldn’t need me anymore.
