F5 MFG has a new gen 2 Jakl ACR stock

Welcome to the PSA community forums @polomontes

Make yourself at home, look around and ask questions.

I don’t have one of those so no help here.

Use a rubber mallet to hit the Pic rail adaptor. They are tight.

I just found my fattest punch , put it centered on the internal side of the disc, and gave it a tap with a small mallet.

I sure wish ACR stock retained the QD socket. I miss that.

Looks like a mission first tactical brace.

How can it fit the JAKL15 AND the JAKL10? The 10 is wider/bigger, is it not? There is only one part number.

The part of the lower the JAKL “trunnion” attaches-to and covers in AR-10 and AR-15 rifles is virtually identical (certain individual models excepted - in both short and long Action rifles)

What @TheAirHawk said. Stocks, buffer tubes, and other (but not all) rearward components are interchangeable from ar15 to ar10

I could be wrong here, but I lined up a mounted JAKL trunnion to a stripped AR-10 lower, and it did not appear to be wide enough. I will try it again, fully, but I cared and was disappointed. Clearly, I forget the details. I will follow up. I am aware of the buffer tube, etc. F5 (and other) manufacturers of such have different integrated trunnion/stock/brace sets for the 15 and 10. Why, then?

It appears that f5 has done a Gen 2 that now is ar10 specific. How they did the one that fits all (9, 5.56, 300, 308) I dont know as I haven’t see it.

F5-ACR Stock & Adapter for JAKL .308 – F5 MFG

i think i prefer the wide body collapsable brace over the side folder personally. that would probably work on the Jakl9 and the Jakl308 interchangable because both are wider.. id think

They are doing another update on the ACR stock
They’re making it where the cheek riser moves back with the stock extended.

Just purchased the f5 collapsible for jakl 9, need to replace the buffer delete with the provided one with f5 to install it. How the hell do I get the factory one out??

Does the inside have a cut out in it ?
Mine I used a screwdriver to unscrew it.

Nope any help would be greay

Is this the stock you have?

No sir, its the f5 collapsible brace.

The buffer delete adapter that came with the f5 has the cut out like the one you sent. Needs to be used, so I need to remove the current one like pictured. I have a Jakl9-Sd, I checked my jackl 15, that one also has the notch like you showed. Help lol

If it is rubber you should be able to punch it out.

If not rubber, try using a pair of channel lock pliers (or something similar) that you can adjust to grab on to each side of the buffer without touching the frame. Then slowly and gently try to rotate it out.

Maybe even a small wood clamp….
