Is that how it came out of the gun? if so its way too dry, AR’s like lots of oil. That said, the if the BCG is indeed defective you just need a new one, sending the upper is of no value.
It would probably not be out-of-line to replace the gas tube as well, and inspect the upper for gouging/galling.

I must’ve left that part out. With the charge handle out of the upper insert the carrier group and move it back-and-forth in the upper and see if there’s any roughness or binding in the receiver
Alright, the upper is on the way to PSA, they said that it might take around 15 days to get it back, fingers crossed!

15 day to get back?!? That’s INCREDIABLE time table wise if you ask me. Hopefully they can fill you in with what all the issue was, how it was corrected and whatnot. Thanks again for the update friend

Nice! This is all happening fairly Quickly if you ask me. I’ve never had to send anything back to PSA for any reason. But this thread is giving me a lot of hope and reassurance if ever the need is there, I’ll be taken care of promptly and with great communication. Thanks again for all the updates bud

I stand firm to what I said, we’ll agree to disagree.
you can disagree all yo wan’t just give a reason, and ALL intermediate caliber ARs need lots of oil and its a proven fact, and If i soaked the whole rifle in oil it were fire, so just explain how you 1 think you can over lube, and 2 show me one that fires drive reliablly
Did you just stroke out, or are you that illiterate and and just plainly dumb? Do you seriously think lubing an AR to the max, I’m talking soaking the firing pin/channel and bolt-face is good for reliable ignition for each and every cartridge? To each their own, I suppose…
