Just got the parts in, looking for any tips or advice/warnings on building a lower. Had only bought complete ones in the past. Thanks in advance for any info.
@ventura1973 it’s not hard…but a few pointers. Watch a YouTube video or 2 on how to do it.
Use tape along the top of the receiver when you install the bolt catch.
Clevis pins make installing the front take down pin spring and detent easy.
Make sure your trigger springs are installed correctly.
Always function check every thing before you shoot.

Thanks for the tips, I am definitely going to find a good video or two and study them. Hopefully it will be painless. Will post when i get it together.
Get a punch or you’ll mar up your lower. And use masking tape.

I have a bolt catch roll pin punch similar to this one. It will help to keep you from scratching your lower. It also has a tool to press the roll pin for the trigger guard.
