Lonewolf is correct, I’m pretty tall. However, that setup is cobbled together and I haven’t be able to shoot it much to adjust it to my liking. I plan to get a different scope with a cantilever mount.

You definitely want the optic mounted low as possible. I’d be surprised if your scope has enough adjustment to zero it mounted that high. The key to accuracy is consistency. Man catch up with the times you don’t recognize a spotting scope when you see one? All silliness aside I am curious if someone isn’t comfortable switching out a gas block or isn’t sure how? It sure would make that AR a lot more accurate with the scope being closer to the actual bore axis. Good catch…
