good 223 rem ammo …for storage in pmags for long term (at least a year) recommendations..
Danged near all ammo will be good to go after a year, Provided you store it in reasonable conditions.
What are you “requirements” for the ammo ?
Accuracy ? Self defense ? Varmint Hunting ? Inexpensive ?
You mention .223 , what kind of firearm are you shooting the ammo from ?
And just curious, and not “judging” why a year ? IE… low usage, stocking up, storage in less than ideal conditions ? Etc
AAC / PSA makes 5.56 and .223 ammo that will meet all four of those requirements.
Well maybe I shouldn’t have said a year. Maybe referring on good ammo. Normally I have a couple of pistol and rifle magazines loaded and kept in my safe. I have a habit of any ammo I have more than a year I shoot and restock.
I can’t shoot that much in a week.
