I haven’t been to a gun show in 13 years. I dont need beef jerky, used crap twice its worth, or to smell like farts for the rest of the day.

I usually go to the ones in Greenville and Anderson. I like to collect old pocket knives and usually find a couple. The complaints about food and other junk has been addressed:

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • New Toys

  • No Home Improvement, Gutters, Windows, Doors etc., will be accepted

  • No Jewelry or cosmetic vendors will be accepted

  • T-Shirts

  • Ball Caps / Hats must not exceed 40% of your table.

  • Baseball & Football Cards, etc.

  • Rocks

  • Bottles

  • Live Military Ordnance (Grenades, Rockets, etc.)

  • Bumper Stickers

  • Black Powder

  • Flea Market Items

  • Counterfeit Items

  • Food Items

  • No Compressed Air (Bottles, Tanks, etc.)

These are not as bad as they used to be.

The bumper stickers I actually miss. Never bought a single one but there’s usually some that’ll make me laugh, stop at their booth and buy something I don’t want. The vast majority of those other things, yeah I’m okay with them being prohibited at a gun show.

You would just have to go and scout around. Prices are generally at the higher end tho. Good news is that most all the vendors are willing to haggle and as always, “Cash is King”.

Given how hard it is to find reloading materials (powder and primers, specifically), I’d keep my eye out for that.
