My H&R M16A1 gray lower kit arrived today so I took a little therapy time this evening and assembled my H&R XM177E2 lower. It was quite therapeutic and I am pleased with the results.

Looks good. Where are you getting your barrel from?
That’s a good question. The only H&R barrel in stock currently at PSA is the 14.7 inch 723 retro barrel. I plan to talk to my gunsmith and see if it is possible to cut that barrel down and pin and weld the retro flash hider to it to make it 16 inches…
looks great… man in that first photo that lower really looks grey… i may need to do some therapy time here soon myself, its been quite a while since i built things on my bench.
