Neat. This is nice to know. According to Haga Defense, the production color for the FDE HDA3 will be close to/match Magpul FDE.

Well, for anyone curious, it looks like A3 and Haga have a small handful of black HDA3 stocks/braces available right now.
Just the black ones, none of the other colors yet. Not sure if it’s a mistake or if it’s just a staggered release. I’m waiting for the FDE stocks to be available.

Its ridiculous for a stock IMO. I understand there are multiple molds to make them and then assembly is required…but dang!

I wish someone would take the MAGPUL Zhukov stock and just make a bunch of mounts to fit them to various rifles lol.

that would be too intelligent. maybe make the zhukov stock with the Picitinny mount then.. it would work on multiple platforms then.

PSA sells a JAKL lower with a Picatinny Zhukov, but don’t sell the stock/adaptor separately.
Haga Defense sells their version of the stock and adaptor…
And a company called One Off LLC makes an adaptor…

I have the One Off adaptor on my 10.5" JAKL, and I bought a PSA lower with their Zhukov and adaptor mounted on my 13.7" JAKL. The PSA adaptor is much better than the One Off version…it has two clamping screws instead of one.
I ordered the HDA3 stock earlier this week and it came in today.
I got A3 Tactical’s version…their’s has a slightly different contour on the receiver adaptor portion than Haga’s version.
This thing is nice and solid. I haven’t tried the F5 stock, but did have the MBT for a while…this is much less flexy than the B&T stock (the MBT feels “toy” like compared to this one). I haven’t decided if I want to leave it on the 10.5 or 13.7.

Why is it so expensive? How much does the jakl stock run? I think the jakl stock is uncomfotable if you have to extend it. Not a fan.
Wish Magpul would make it in ODG,
Magpul discontinued the Zhukov-S in ODG when I wasn’t paying attention.
I’m gonna try the B5 Systems new folding stock once it’s back in stock.
