Hey PSA; what did you use to glue the front site on with?

I’m trying to get the sights changed on a dagger slide, and I have stripped out one aluminum tool, and a steel tool just game in the mail, and I’m about to strip out the hex screw .

Is there a password or a secret handshake to compel this thing into compliance ?

Next question, can I buy a slide with the sites uninstalled?

Thanks

Heat is your friend :cowboy_hat_face:

Yup, this.

I managed to replace the front sight on both of mine with a steel Glock sight tool, a pair of vice grips for leverage, and a vice, but if that’s not enough to get it loose then you gotta loosen it up with heat.

Loctite, you need heat to soften it. A pencil torch will work best, or a soldering iron.

blow dryer is all it takes, and proper tools (the free one that came with a pair of truglo sights?) mine came off very clean

That must be a hot blower

well it’s not cold

Pretty good ammo for the price @MichaelAnthony

it was ok i already used all that, im on the AAC now i feel like it hits harder and that with the carbine it can send that 9mm so much further than i really ever considered

Anyone have the problem on their new Dagger that the front sight just fell out? Have no idea where or when but have only been to the range twice, shot maybe 300 rounds… looked down on the second trip and nothing there!!!

It happens. Send a warranty claim into PSA and get a new one sent to you @kmacd701
