Some of the mag pouches I’ve tried allow a lot of wiggle to the point where I have to really crank down the screws to get retention I want. They also mount at either the top lip or back retention screws allowing the entire assembly to flex in unwanted directions (I’m fat).
I caved and designed my own using the two ribs on the mag as a guide so the mag doesn’t rattle or have any fore/aft play. It also requires minimal compression from the retention screws due to the geometry and surfacer area. The potential downside is the mag can only be drawn straight out, but it’s exactly what I wanted for woods carry where brush catches in everything.
If there’s enough interest, I’ll post the files so anyone with a printer can make their own.
As an aside, I found the XD 45 Tactical holster from Don Hume fits my Rock 5.7 perfectly!
