What holster is everyone running with the PSA Rock? I’m mostly interested in a duty style, but with slim pickings as of today, any OTW or IWB would be of use.
Also, does anyone know what other models this gun is close to in size/diminsions? Could be useful in finding a holster from a major manufacturer.
Lastly, for those who already have a Rock, so I can do some researching, what are the dimensions for the width of the slide, and the hight from the top of the slide (not including sights) to the bottom of the rail.

Slide is 25mm at its widest and 24mm inside the groves. Looks like it’s 38.5mm from top of the slide to the bottom of the picatinny. Also, the frame is 25.5mm wide where it meets the slide.
I’ve got the Blackhawk Omnivore holster. It is a level two retention, so that might be closer to what you’re looking for vs a IWB. You might be able to modify it for level three if needed.
Just placed an order with Desert Gun Leather for a leather pancake holster setup for an optic. The blue gun they use to wet mold the leather just became available and they should have it in hand in a couple of weeks. I suspect you’ll see a lot of other holster makers offering options now that there is a blue gun.
From my research so far, a G17 holster may fit the Rock. The rock looks to be about 2mm taller from top of the slide to the rail, but it may be a small enough difference for it not to effect anything much. Anyone here who has both able to see if their Rock fits their G17 holster? If so, what holster is it?
I just received my new PSA Rock -w- 5.2" threaded barrel. I’ve also been searching for holsters (IWB/OWB). So far I have only found two manufactures that offer a holster for THE ROCK 5.7. One is weare-nerd.com which offers both IWB (SLICC) and OWB (SLY) weapon only. The second is faltacunlimitedllc.com . FalTac Unlimited offers IWB/OSW holsters with or without rail light. They also have multiple options to choose and many colors as well. He has a YouTube channel showing how the holster is made. Other than that I was told that a T.Rex holster for Glock 19 with Streamlight TRL-1HL will work for the PSA Rock 5.7.
Quick access and minimal printing. The big downside (for many people) is comfort and appendix carry is very apparent when you uncover to draw the firearm.
Thank you! I am new to PSA and recently got the AR15/Rock 5.7 combo package. Zeroed them both yesterday. The trigger pull on the Rock is VERY hard pulling through the wall break.
Hoping to find info on how to perform a trigger polish job. The AR performed great!!
It’s in the Rock threads somewhere, can’t remember exactly where though. The best recommendation I can give is ‘dry fire’ at least a hundred times with snap caps, clean and lube. It’s what I did and no polishing was required. Great trigger now.
you’re welcome. i’d suggest dry firing the Rock about 500 times… that should help break in the trigger a good bit. im glad that the AR performed great. Welcome aboard and welcome to the PSA family… we’re all patriots here!
