Anyone know how much 1000 rounds of 5.57x28 weighs? I may be in area and can pick up the Fiocchi Hyperformance 5.7x28mm 40gr at 20 bucks a box. Alaska Air allows us 50 pounds of ammo. Was thinking of mushing in a few other calibers while in town 
The smaller ammo can will hold 24 boxes and it doesn’t weigh 50#s can and all.
They must have a big partner down there. I’ve received several orders from LA.

That is great ammo also, just super high quality, well most 5.7 seems to be higher quality than many rounds.

I had the Omni 556 on my bench a few yrs ago.
It was not mine… a super light pistol but the composite parts to include FCG, face of the hammer concave was deep. Disconnector composite too. Lower: aluminum sleeve for the buffer and at the hinge. Upper BCG sleeved but l don’t know about the barrel nut area. Aluminum handguard. ATI does offer the Maxx in 300…but for me l would walk away IF you plan to shoot it a lot
