Palmetto when are you going to make a 458 socom??? If bear creek arsenal can make one for $380 why can’t you??
M203 grenade launcher, painted in a distressed pattern which perfectly emulates a logistics throw away abused by a pack of wild Marines… dents, bite marks, crayon markings and all
@kevinmullison We will be coming out with a .458 socom!! I just do not have an eta at the moment.
@AudiblePop I kind of like the sound of that.
I’d love to see PSA put out an affordable piston AR. With the passing of Adams Arms, I believe there is a market for non-Gucci piston ARs. There’s nothing like shooting dirty Ruskie ammo all day and then putting your AR back in the safe w/o needing to clean it.
Also 6.8 SPC. I love that round!
I would say 6mm ARC but I jumped the gun and bought a couple of barrels from my other favorite barrel maker (besides DC Machine), Faxon. I’ve been looking at Grendel, Valkyrie and 6.5 Creedmoor for years but the 6mm BR all sammi-ed up finally got me!!
do you guys prefer the 6mm type rounds over 300 blk?
Completely different application, 6mm go far and fast, 300 Blackout, up close and personal.
The only calibers that interest me that I don’t have are too long for the AR-10. I’d love to see a version of the AR-10 upper and lower just a little longer. I could be tempted to build a 6.5 or 300 PRC but at this point you can only shoot them out of very boring guns( lots of guys love bolt action, more power to you, I’d rather watch paint dry). I’m sure someone is making a $5000 custom version that comes with all the junk that I don’t like, side charging, pistons or recoil operated. For me you could leave the foreword assist and the dust cover off too. I know it’s not a practical thing to do now, but a longer, standard AR platform is what interests me.
Interesting thoughts on the AR10 that is just a bit longer to handle larger rounds.
I’d like to see a pistol caliber AR or AK in .40 cal, 10mm or 45 acp
Yeah 10mm would be sick
I have no understanding of firearms manufacture or what it takes to push out functional mags.
I would assume 9mm is somehow easier/more marketable.
If it’s possible, a caliber that has 4 in front of it would be super cool.
Retro parts and a C7 upper.
@CoolBreeze302 That is something we are looking into at the moment!
I would like to see a PSA 1911, in 45acp and 40sw. All black, with checkered (brown, red and nutmeg) grips.
A PSA lever action with nutmeg stock and chrome barrel.
A dagger in 44mag and 40sw .
That’s all. AM I asking too much?
Then there are revolvers…
Rock Island makes excellent, affordable 1911’s in nearly every conceivable configuration.
The 458 like the 50 Beowolf is a really cool and interesting cartridge, but they’re really niche products. The actual market for those types of guns is very small, one or two manufacturers can satisfy the market demand. It’s like everyone wants a BAR but if there was a market for it someone would make a replica. Now the 1911 is a historically important pistol that people will actually buy and there are dozens of manufacturers.
I like the .458 as well! I would like to see us come out with one.
A 11.5" pistol upper with flash can and a 12"- 13" hand guard with a full length top rail.
