with all BS aside, how many rounds do you have thru your dagger? doesnt matter if some parts broke or replaced? any top round counts?
Im at about 1500, almost all of it supressed.
Around 2k on each of mine. No issues besides the initial pre-firing stuff I caught which was a bad connector, and stuck ejector. Strikers are still good even with them being Gen1 and having just as many dry fires on them, if not more.
my 1st dagger has been fired at least 2000+ rounds, broken 2 strikers, and had to replace trigger return spring. wouldnt reset.
1,500 minimum on my first dagger slide on the p80 frame……that’s where the dagger road began.
3k+ on the first complete compact dagger after i finally got the MD HQL.
Less than 500 on the 2nd complete dagger.
Only 300 to 400 tops.
I’m around 3,000 plus or minus. I really don’t count 'em. I just load and send.

Taking me awhile to get a replacement round.
With each pistol, at time of purchases I bought 1k round cases for each + random 50 rounds boxes of mixed varieties to try out. And my first 100% dagger ended up going through 3 cases……especially after we had joined a pistol club that was open 24 hours. I loved shooting it so much, I was going 3 times a week easily. 5 or so 17 round mags + a maglula speed loader and a range to yourself more times than not…….man oh man you’ll go through ammo. My numbers aren’t exact, but pretty darn close enough going by inventory counts. I do have a few rifles that I can’t begin to guess round counts though.
Probably 300 give or take. I will tell you that it DOES NOT like Aguila brass. I had to more or less beat the slide back after several failed to load. All other ammo it chomps down, no problem. Wonder if anyone else has seen this or maybe a bad batch from Aguila.
Welcome to the PSA community @Jrat
Anything that is hecho’ed en Meh-hee-co should probably be eyed warily.
Hmmm… I have a shot a Aguila brass before and I don’t recall it ever giving me problems… I have a shot whatever I find sometimes. with the exception of reloads and Steelcase…
In the last Ammo-crisis Aguila came from nowhere to be practically the only .22lr available at any price - I bought a lot and shot a lot. It generally went “bang!” but it was obvious this was hurriedly-produced. Dirty, There were random “half bullets” loaded in a few, loaded upside-down bullets, near-squib powder charges…
I’ve elected not to purchase any more of that brand so long as anything else is available.
Recently I saw they expanded to centerfire pistol cartridges - I passed.
I just reloaded a couple hundred rounds for next week. Stuff 'em and send 'em!
We’ve got a couple thousand rounds of the Mexican eagle 22lr. Yes, quite a few rounds sound very much underpowered. Stinks somewhat like kitty p.p. ![]()
I’m only at around 500 so far, but I haven’t had it more than two months. So far it is a great pistol although I did replace the trigger with a Wheaton Arms.
i shot 4 and a half bullets out one dagger, zero ftf

4,000 rounds
Started off with a Live Free Armory Slide and cracked it using a few boxes of Fiocchi 115 gr @ 1750 rounds. Swapped internals to Dagger Extreme Carry Cuts Slide and am now @ 4k.
LFA Slide created some malfunctions along the way and was the only part I threw away. Will be replacing striker and guide rod springs @ 5k.
