Hurricane Helene: What we all should have done differently

I’ll defer to @rockymountainjeep 's expertise on this but I would pass on a Lincoln unless it was an old one. Every welder I sourced for our weld shop was a Miller.

None. Or none that I’d recommend.

Kohler has become the standard power on most of the popular, big name gas engine drives.

The only guys I regularly see using Lincoln are pipeliners. Every shop that I’ve worked in, Miller is the standard. We have two Miller Trailblazer 325s with Kubota diesels for our field work.

Addendum to my prior, my general goal is placement inside such that no matter where a blaze may break out and no matter where you may be when it does, there will always be at least one extinguisher on your side of it. Outside, I want two seconds or less to nearest extinguisher no matter where on the property I am.

The generator that my family has is connected directly to the propane tank for our house so we don’t have to worry about separate fuel.

I’ll keep that in mind.
