Also a stock - think cutting it down, it’ll pass as a Brace? ![]()
(Yeah… No.)
Dude…dont cut that. Someone will pay good money for that.
I thought that maybe at first - then found nearly identical parts on Numrich - this stuff is worth about $30 apiece.
I don’t think enough attention was given to the name Beoblaster. ![]()
50 beo is ridiculous, expensive, and pointless. So obviously it’s perfect for this sort of thing. Wood furniture, gold trim somehow, and maybe a FSB.
well i look at it like this, if you have a 6.5 Grendel, you almost have to build yourself a .50 Beowulf. ![]()
You want my blunt opinion?
What you’re proposing is stupid. Guns are tools, meant to be useful. Sure your range toy is “fun” for now, but what will you do with it in 5 years down the road? With ammo that’s increasingly expensive that you’re wasting on nothing down range?
It’s useless.
Build it into something useful, that you’ll shoot and become proficient with. Otherwise it’s a safe queen/range toy and a waste.
That’s my opinion, but it’s your money and your gun to build.
EDIT
My build is 100% political. Our Idiot in Chief has railed against “Ghost Guns”, directing the ATF and FBI to skew the data on guns recovered at crime scenes.
It used to be that guns that were recovered with defaced or altered serial numbers were recorded one way, and PMFs were recorded another way. Firearms with altered/defaced serial numbers make up approximately 98% or more of the guns recovered at crime scenes.
Thanks to BoBo Biden
they are all classified now as “ghost guns”, making the problem seem much worse to the uninformed general public than it actually is.
9mm blows the lung out of the human body.
What an incredibly ignorant, inflammatory, and deliberate thing to say to sway those people with no firearms knowledge. Calculated and underhanded…
So given the unheard of lethality of 9mm, that became my chosen caliber.
Oh that third selector switch position

Well said. I really don’t want any toys in my collection.
With provenance $30?
What’s wrong with having toys?
I have more NATO caliber Ars than anything else so having something different is fun.
I can use all of the same parts, other than the barrel.
So I’m out $300 on a fun Thumper ![]()
Nothing, it’s just an opinion.
Different is good.
But different useful is better than different is wasteful.
OP has stated it’s for nothing more than making fireballs and giggling.
You can do that with 5.56 or 7.62, still be useful, it’s cheaper, possibly different, yet still fun.
I’m just soliciting thought. Not picking on anyone.
beowulf is useful just like 450 or .458 socom…
i mean when was the last time you blew a 6 inch hole in an engine block with a 5.56 or 7.62x51 nato ?
Beowulf, when you absolutely, positively, need that car to stop running right then.

Already have it.
Slugs FTW ![]()
If this is the dumbest way you’ve ever spent a couple hundo’s, you’re a better person than me. Admittedly, that’s not always a high bar to clear… ![]()
Nothing wrong with tools or toys. As long as you can pay the bills and feed the family, spend your money on whatever brings you happiness, now and in the future.

You’re starting to Convince me… I mean - what do I need another .458 for?
well like i said, be it either offensive or defensive, there may always be a time that you need to take out a moving car engine… or 30…
I say f*** it … go for it. You only live once, if It puts a smile on your face, do it!
I second and third this.
My list of poor decisions that “only” cost me under a grand is lengthy but distinguished.
At least yours is distinguished. My list of bad decisions is only lengthy.
