Hello I recently bought the PSA Meme lower Ghostgun-15. I’m debating what caliber to make it, i saw on psa they have the 7.5" 5.56 uppers at $179. Which is a great price, but I was wondering should i do that or buy a .50beowulf upper? Why? Because it would be hilarious. This gun would be by no means used to hunt but as a ridiculous-fireball emitting-giggle stick.

A 7.5” 5.56 would definitely make fireballs!
If you built a .50 Beowulf you get to brag that you have a 50 cal though. Hard to top that?

Practically speaking I would suggest the 556 unless you already have invested in 50 beo.
Likely you are already invested into 556 so very little investment as far as ammo costs.
Plus within the same budget would allow some amazon basics accessories.
But you know if you’re really wanting to go in on something ridiculous the 50 beo is a neat conversation piece.
If its in the budget and not your primary shooter whats a little heartache to make something annoying but cool.

yea idk… but they are phenomenal with the newer 9mm buffers. got a few, had zero issues after thousands of rounds, look back up after the dust settled and they were all gone.
and they run aac 115gr xtp with zero problems making it a great home defense option

I didnt think of this before, but if i want my ccw I can use the beowulf pistol. Because if i qualify for the 50beowulf I automatically qualify for all pistol calibers under it.

i agree with you there. i’d love to have that Upper receiver in 458 socom myself oh and the grip… its like a Fallout version of a Thompson with an insane sized round… yes please… may i have another!! wonder where he got that wood handguard.

I didn’t know where he got his, but I literally stumbled-across this one in some Estate parts I acquired, with a batch of reloading equipment.
It’s off some older Browning Shotgun - unsure which model.
A little Router and File work, should fit nicely over one of those narrow AR Stoner Midway handguards.
