Follow-up to my post a couple weeks ago. I finally received the PSA “Spiker” clone that I ordered 12/9. A BIG thanks to Jodi & the PSA leadership that made this happen. My FFL and I are named on a DeVore TRO.
I’m sure it’s a challenge by the compliance team to make exceptions. I’d hope “freedom” and the “2A” unity would open channels to order. I didn’t get a reply from the compliance team after I emailed them documents and multiple ID looking to get the “green light”.
Update: My FFL and I are named on the “Darren Bailey et al. v. Pritzker et al. #2023-MR-01” and TRO – I was able to place an order for a serialized item on 2 March. PSA Compliance contacted me and I replied with court documents and ID. They authorized the order and it arrived at my FFL on 9 March.
Any further updates on how PSA is handling IL TRO orders? I’ve been in limbo with different people for over a month now. Seems like it should be more straightforward and not take this long. Should I try to phone in my order vs ordering by email? I’d like to think each time I place an order it wouldn’t take over a month or 2 to process.
