There are so many variables in the gun world and wider economy that impact what everyone is doing. And none of us can change that. There are probably factors PSA can’t control when it comes to the supply chain.

You are definitely not wrong that obtaining the parts are a potential issue. There is also an ability to communicate such things and be transparent vs having radio silence when dates get pushed back. There are many corporations that pay a lot of money to people to do that and keep PR good. I personally would rather have the good product I have been waiting for come when it’s ready, but would also like some updates. For instance if it is going to be 3-6 months because of parts acquisition but the design is solid then great. If we are going back to a redesign of something and it will be another year then I would rather go a different direction. I had been waiting for the Krink as well, when that was announced it is taking a back seat I went and got a 556 mini Jack to fill a void even tho it’s not the same thing exactly or even the same caliber. Communication/transparency/trust can really help the PR side of things that people feel PSA hasn’t been great at.

I disagree. Demand is at an all time high in the gun industry. SHOT Show is just around the corner, the job market is wide open with no one applying.
There are a lot of things I want even beyond the gun industry…much of it is sitting on a boat in the Pacific. That’s not bad PR, it’s a reality of the world around us.

No one gets the job market more than me. I literally hire people for a living. That said I still communicate with my customers that turnaround will be slower than they have typically seen. I let them know the challenges I am facing and have weekly calls with them to give them status updates. As a customer of mine they have expectations and demands, if I don’t deliver they go elsewhere. My only shot to keep them from making permanent changes in the service I give is transparency. I am just trying to help PSA out here. I myself am not mad, but there are a bunch who are.

They have never set a hard deadline to my knowledge. They have said they “planned” for 2021 or “hoped” for 2021.
Wow, the cope is strong. Simping for a company, even one who generally does things you like, is not a good look. I have given PSA money in the past and I probably will again. That doesn’t mean I can’t be unhappy with how they handled something. Also, if they meant they hoped or projected that it would be 2021 their language should have been different or they should have issued new updates.

Well, as a volunteer, unpaid moderator of these forums, I would say I have an interest in it. But more importantly, since I have a full time job (not in the gun industry) I can understand the societal and industry issues and in doing so can separate that from a self created false reality that I and I alone are their most important customer. Additionally, I can do that without pitching a whiny fit.
BTW, I’m still waiting on the LaRue Siete that was promised 8 years ago…and life goes on without me emailing ML every other day.

Dreaming of them too, but for different reasons. I want one in 7.62x39 for my KS-47 lowers. PSA has already said they will focus on 5.56 and 300 ACC but will eventually come out with a x39. So, the sooner they come out with the JAKL in its initial calibers the sooner I get one in 7.62x39.

Oh I know, and they may be in stock at places again, but when I was looking a while back all I could find was used stuff at nearly double retail prices.
