So shadowless.24601 already made a topic about this but this was my own testing on a JAKL 300 BO with a Kawl Valley linear compensator. First time I took it to the range it w/o the compensator, worked pretty well out the box. A few months later I added a linear compensator and bought some 300 BO PMAGS, took it to the range and every single time it would not feed. The bold would not completely sit and sometimes it would be extremely hard to rack the bolt back, having to pry it open.
As someone suggested, I went back to the range and took 5 types of magazines.
First it was the 300 BO Lancer it worked with no failures, next the 556 PMGS and no issues, after that it was a Colt STANAG magazine it worked but a few failures to load round at all ( magazine spring?) but most times it worked, next a PSA metal mag and it had some failures to feed and to chamber constantly and last it was the PSA Sabre (556) plastic mag it had the same issues that the 300 BO PMAGs had.
I want to ask your suggestion if I should send the Jakl to get looked at by PSA or just stick to the 556 PMAGs and get more Lancer magz in 300 BO
and here’s a picture on the magazines I used, also the ammo was AAC 150 grain.
