Jts m12 ak shotgun

Anybody else have one? Just got mine from our friends at Palmetto. Likes high brass of any brand but not low brass estate.
Anyone shoot rifled slugs?

I have a KS-12 (Kalashnikov USA Saiga 12 clone) and had to use pretty hefty rounds, to break it in. Most semi auto shotties seem to be that way and yes I have shot slugs. Only real way to sight in an optic on a shotgun effectively. Does the JTS M12 take Saiga mags or is it proprietary?

I have read that it will take Saiga mags but havent tried them myself. Hoping to get deer capable slug gun accuracy out to 75 yards. The fixed barrel construction and decent trigger should help with that. Most semi autos that are 3" and 2.75" capable choke on low brass of course but i was hopeful the adjustable gas system would allow low brass as well. The Rem Choke compatible choke threading is a nice feature.

I’ve been thinking about getting one. Looked nice when I checked it out locally. The only thing holding me back is parts availability.

I love mine

I have been looking to purchase, pretty reliable?

I’ve had a JTS ak shotty since Dec 2020 and it runs great. Very reliable so far and so much fun. Like mentioned, higher velocity shells (1200+) is recommended. I am sure I am past my break-in period, so I need to test shells less than 1200 fps. This thread has reminded me to buy more magazines.

Edit: rifled slugs also shoot well

I recommend the JTS ak12!

I tried my friends and now I’m really looking into getting one

Ive only fired the JTS a few more times, all with old old high brass 2.75. No jams so far. The only thing ive done to it is to lightly grease the action rails. Seems to be very robust construction. Currently has a Remington turkey choke installed. The only gripe i have is theres nowhere handy to attach a sling.

Still flawless with any high brass on gas setting #1. Good handy shotgun for here on the farm. Thinking about getting another to put back for a rainy day.
