Try doing that with 8track tapes. That was my back in the day.
cassettes for me. I couldn’t afford a CD player - home or in the car/truck.
I wish I still had all of those cassettes as well.
If we only knew then what we know now.

I remember that cassette with the wire that you could plug in your portable CD player and the cassette end into the car and play over the vehicle system.
I still have one of those saved away some where.
