In my opinion I don’t think Kackles will be the donkeycrap nominee.
They will probably open it up to see who throws their hat in the ring.

They will keep her as VP, is what I think.
I 'd like to see them keep her as well. But they have to know she will likely fare worse than Biden would have.
She’s the functional equivalent of Gerald Ford who couldn’t beat Carter (the second worst POTUS).
Kackles is less popular with voters than Biden, so the Democratic powers-that-be probably don’t want her as their candidate. However, she may be able to claim the $100 million or so of Biden/Harris campaign funds. But, if she can’t hang on to the campaign funds, they will probably go to party committees or super-PACS, with the money distributed to down-ballot campaigns.
