My current occupation is a maintenance coordinator for a small assisted living,memory care. One of my weekly tasks is to drive a bus M,W,F to Divita with two residents.I have seen their improvements, like having their time reduced from 4 hours to 3 and 3 1/2.
For the past 3 years I cannot take a M,W,or F off including today as Dialysis is a life saving treatment. Iām okay with it.Itās one less thing for them to worry about.

You are definitely a Lifeline for those residents, as you know their Lives depend on getting to treatment 
Iām hoping we can do dialysis at home instead of making an hour round trip 3 days a week in or older truck, since I had to sell my wifeās car.
I greatly appreciate the prayers from you and your family and thank you for caring enough to help others that canāt do for themselves 
yeah man. it sounds like you got you a miillion dollar wife for sure. im the same way, without mine i would not be here now. and good luck with the dialysis.. lets hope you get a match fast.

Well my wife tells me that Iām being more of an azzhole than my usual self, I even catch myself doing it now.
Iāll apologize in advance to yāall if I come off the same.
My body and mind are starting to go through changes that are very similar to when I was having liver problems.
The symptoms are now getting worse and taxing me a little bit more every day.
Iāve tried to get everything in order here on the property for my wife before I really start going south but I think Iām physically giving out before I can finish.
Mentally my mind is still strong and I still think I can do anything that I want to but my body doesnāt agree.
Though I was pretty proud of being able to pick up and move those railroad ties 
But since then Iāve pretty much been down in the bed.
Please keep me in your prayers

As you know Iāve had my own health issues this last year, and while Iām not really happy with the way it has affected my day to day life, Iām still here, day to day. So I accept itā¦

Sorry to hear that J, the extreme irritability and fatigue were my first signs my body gave me to tell me something was wrong, honestly my two least favorite symptoms. Iāve had to apologize to my wife and kids so many times and tell them I didnāt mean the stuff I said and I didnāt really know why I was so mad. And so many days of knowing how much I needed to do but having exactly no energy to do it.
Seems like you got a good core support group in your wife at home and here with the guys on the forum. I suggest flowers and chocolates for your wife with a hand written note telling her how much her support and love mean to you. My wife is simple(uncomplicated lol) and loves orchids and chocolate samplers.

Finally on the kidney transplant waiting list but not eligible for a donor match until the hospital can get me back in for more testing.
Most of the test I completed the first of the month but I still have to do a nuclear stress test and repeat the Echo and EKG because they saw somethingā¦
Oh well looks like another two day trip in September.
Not real happy about having to wait but they require me to have the test at their hospitalā¦I get it.
Too blessed to stress!!
So any of you on the fence about donating organs, please do and help save lives
Iām thankful youāre on the waiting list already. I hope and pray you can get in to the hospital and have that testing done asap, so you may get on the match situation asap as well. I pray for you brother.
If september is as soon as they can have you, ill pray for a vacancy to open so you may be seen sooner.
unfortunately with my medical situation im no longer eligible to donate any organs or blood. I pray that others will step up for me and donate in my place.

As of today, September is the earliest that they can get me back in to finish testing. Hopefully something will open up before then.
Worst case scenario my wife is willing to donate but we are going to continue praying for a deceased donor match, unfortunately that is usually a long wait.
Needing a kidney is know where near as serious as my liver transplant.
I can always go on dialysis for my kidneys.

i appreciate you educating me more about the kidney vs liver and which is more serious as i truly didnt know. that is good about the dialysis for kidneys. of course bro.. always!
im doing okā¦ some days better than others, and i cant largely go out side much cause its just too dang hot for me to be out there.. makes breathing very hardā¦ basically makes me want to do no movement at all. and even then its hard still. i think i finally know what folks with asthma feel like somewhat.
Iāve been asleep for 20 hours off and on and completely missed Saturday.
My body must be telling me something because Iām too stubborn to listen. I know Iāve been doing more than I really should be.
The chronic fatigue is really starting to take itās toll on me, and now the shortness of breath is not helping.
I canāt just lay around but my body just wonāt go!
Very frustrating to say the least
