Anyone have a Leo Slide?
Before I get told, I already ordered a PSA Slide.
I should have known better.
Even with the Barrel Removed, No Dice.
Anyone have a Leo Slide?
Before I get told, I already ordered a PSA Slide.
I should have known better.
Is that on the rails correctly?
Yes,
For some reason, it won’t go on that last little bit.
I’m Thinking the Firing pin was installed incorrectly.
Just Curious if Anyone else had one.
It’s going back.
Have you stripped the slide and tried it with no internals?
No,
I don’t think I should have to on a complete slide.
Then the seller will try to blame me.
Live and Learn.
Can try wiggling it a bit to see if it’s something just needing some breaking in or clearing. Otherwise I think you have the best chance of seeing what may be catching in there compared to us.
Could also try taking the backplate off then assembling the backplate once the slide is locked back. You can do the reverse if your connector ever messes up and won’t let you dryfire the gun.
I got all my daggers out and could not see any differences in this slide.
Swapped Barrels and Springs and kept trying fitment, but would not fully seat.
Got it to slide on fully without a Barrel or spring and finally got it to seat correctly after multiple tries. Functions perfectly.
Guess I wasn’t holding my mouth right.
May have got hung up on that little track in the slide. in the side by side one it’s on the bottom left side. My new cerakote’d Dagger slides hang up there going on or off too, but after time they break in. Cocking the slide to one side can help it slide over easier. Lube it up (I prefer grease over oil since it stays), and give it plenty of racking and dryfire.
Live fire is even better, but money.
I have several Daggers, one of them when new, had to pull down on the takedown buttons when going back together. I bought all of them as separate frames and slides, none were complete guns. Function check was fine so I took it to the range. It sorted itself out on the first trip.
This one wasn’t so easy.
Tried all the tricks.
Just trial and Error.
Glad you got it working.
i am too, and i love your collection in the various colors. very nice.
glad you got it fitting fine and running well.
