Made some changes

Yeah when I got the Gray with non optics cut. But there were so many slides I figure I could customize later. But nice you got slide you wanted. Seen the sniper green for 299 with 1 mag. Wow

hehe.. the rock is awesome. I really want a rock compact but im on the car kick right now so funds are diverted elsewhere. That is awesome on the Can.. i think FN makes some subs but im not sure, and i dont know if anyone else does as i dont suppress my Rock yet. I need a can rated for 5.7. Im sure it would be very worth it though although a lot of folks say supressing the 5.7 is counter productive as the round was developed for velocity and you are reversing what it was designed for by suppressing tit. so IDk. someting i’d have to research more.

i know and hear your wallets tears singing harmony with mine. the struggle is real.
however, the rock routinely goes on sale for 299 or less, and when i bought mine at launch i had to pay full price. (grr… i guess you gotta pay to play if you wanna be among the first to get one. ) I’d love the sniper green one, and the 10 mag deal is what i really need. I may do something like that if they do a rock compact deal like that.. having the deal with theammo and the red dot.. that is a steal for all that.. makes me wish i had a k to play with right now.. then maybe id sell my old rock, and just keep the new one.. but who am i kidding id just keep both.. lol

awesome!!! congrats!

Ok …
Function test. My only complaint at first…slide release very stiff. CLP all of the action, blew off with air, put my gloves on and began racking, locking and releasing. Snap caps (10) delivered yesterday afternoon. Rain started while l was mowing so back to racking and trigger. Wow big difference! Just like the Dagger triggers the Rock break in is getting there. Gonna be a barebones piece is my plan…we shall see.

Racking it agian this morning. Doing this before l shoot it…I’m loco!
The info from others about this pistol thread/topics…input from @Rufus also.
If l get to run it today l will post my results.

Not one hiccup!!!
175 rnds of loose ammo l acquired.
60 rnds Dagger.
The Rock is everything all y’all have praised about!!! My only complaint to myself wish l jumped on the Sniper G mag and bag deal
What a cool running yeet pistol.
No rest standing @ 20 l was all around the steel, moved in to 15 and ring ding. Racking it so much did not help my grip.
Thanks fellas

So the 5.7 burns cleaner than 9mm?
I was surprised to see that in comparison

Some 9mm burns cleaner than other. It’s pretty common, actually. A lot of variables goes into it, from the exact powder used, barrel length, bullet weight, burn temperature, etc. Many modern powders are designed to burn cleaner or have other cleaning characteristics, such as Hodgdon’s ā€œCopper Fouling Eraser.ā€

Having tried any number of different powders and ammo brands, I’ve come to the conclusion, from a 100% personal perspective, that it’s not that big a deal to me any more. I usually use an ultrasonic tank with a Ballisotol emulsion for the cleaner but even before that if I was diligent it kinda didn’t matter if it was a ā€œdirtyā€ ammo or not.

What really bugged me more than ā€œdirtyā€ ammo was seeing unburnt powder residue. Unburned powder is wasted powder and wasted powder is wasted money.

Peace favor your sword,

Subs work great in 5.7, some of them can still punch a vest.
