In the spirit of Full Disclosure.

One thing I change with any 1911 I buy from RIA , if it or any other brand comes from the Factory with a Full Length Guide Rod , thus requiring me to use a Paper Clip as a disassembly tool ?. That is immediately replaced with the Masters ( JMB) intended design.

One beef I have with the RIA 10mm is the Bushingless Design and Bull Barrel set up.

Barrel Bushings are a source of Refining a 1911’s accuracy …its also a buffer regarding wear between the Slide and the Barrel…2 of the 3 most expensive parts on the entire pistol.

Are you talking about Round Capacity when you say 8 Mags?

There are higher capacity Single Stacks…but I don’t own any of them.

As does Springfield Armory, with their Brazilian forged frames. They have for decades.

Wilson Combat 8 and 10 round ETM magazines run like a top in my RIA GI 1911A1, Hope this helps.
