The past several guns that I picked up from my former FFL were all missing PSA, or which ever manufacturerâs stickers when I picked up my new guns. Yeah the guy is an old codger and charged $45 transfer fee to boot⊠I picked up my rifle a few weeks ago, and he went up to $55! (his website still says $45) And went on to state that he is going to go up to $65 cause gun sales are slowing down.
Needless to say I have a new FFL, $35 and they donât pilfer my stickers, etc before I get there. Their business is booming, I wonder why? The previous guy has been in business for 25+ years. He cannot be that dense to think that people are going to pay him double as someone else just because he has good war stories to tellâŠ
His business will dry up, due to his own stupidity.
He actually pissed me off a few years back, because I just received a new PSA lower, and another customer received an M1. He said now thatâs a âREAL Manâs gunâ, while turning and looking at me. I said what the hell were the brave people who carried M-16âs in Vietnam, and every conflict hence? I didnât give a damn what he had to say about anything after that day.
If you ever think you want a Grey Dagger or Rock - get âem before theyâre Gone. Scuttlebutt sez that PSA is permanently discontinuing that colour, because they just donât sell.
Weird I think it is a great color myself but could see it not being popular. I like it better than FDE but maybe not as good as some of the Army green.
well im glad i got the frame already, but i need to get the slide then for my grey build. lol.
i think the grey is beautiful though. id be surprised if they did kill it off with them having all those other colors too.
just seems like everything has to be FDE these days, so i think thats a bit overplayed.

Got in some Caldwell shooting gloves, which surprisingly help a lot, with my 10mm. I get better grip and the stippling doesnât hurt my hands anymore. Good $20 investment. Also got in two more mags for it.
Mind sharing which ones you got? I got these for the 10mm it has a pad in the palm that sits perfectly on the grip and takes all the sting out of it. Good gloves for 25 bucks. Or well 30 dollars now but I like them a lot. Got XL which I do most of the time but they run large so had to order the large also. Not sure how long they will last but for just shooting I expect they will be around a while.
Got these from Amazon. I use large disposables and wear an 8 in medical glove sizes for surgical gloves if that means anything to you. I bought the L/XL Caldwells and they fit perfectly. I did just notice they are $30 not $20 like I thought. I guess I remembered them being under 30.
Nice those never showed up in my searches, mostly Magpul but they were thin and very expensive. I like these Caldwells though looks like it has a nice pad also in the palm area. I think mine were 25 dollars also but not on sale now. Oh well.
