I get it, but I just don’t like that aesthetically at all. I gotta find that medium that’ll keep me happy when I look at the rifle too.
absolutely zero recoil, moe… cool colors… nicknamed hellpup… it has it going on… but for my full length one i been thinking of wood so i can hang it on my wall for looks but also have it loaded and chambered just in case
That plum green plum looks way better together than I thought it would!
I’ll be picking some of those up I have the same plum grip. Do they run fine?
The Soviet Arms slab side mags are gtg.
you could just buy a replacement grip alone. that way you’re not messing up the original grip, and are getting the grip you wanted all along.
I like the look of that stock though… . i imagine it is heavy, but it looks great.
na didn’t like it as much as the stock one it came with, i love the AR stock on the AK it is my favorite thing PSA did but, i do love hellpups too… if i got a wooden AK it would be for looks, probably wall mounted
I might do this and get the Hogue grip, because worst case scenario if I hate it I’m only out 20 bucks and I still have the wooden grip to reinstall instead of messing up the wood grip with grip tape.
thats my thoughts… good plan
The satin is the way to go, grey laminate looks good on everything. If you really get the itch like you need some kind of attachment, but still want the wood. There are guys out there who can add MLOK attachment points into the wooden handguard. Kalashnicarver, and combloc customs come to mind…
Youre going to want gloves. The front handguard gets hot enough I’m unable to shoot past 250 rounds in a sitting (continuous). The handguard retainer will melt through plastic tables, mine actually got stuck in the table… lessons learned.
yea now the handguard sounds like something… i would leave the wood on there, and use gloves, and get this part instead:

I use my arms, so I’m considering getting a 5.56x45 AK with the MOEKOV furniture.
Maybe see if that big AK-74 muzzle brake can also be fitted. It really works!
i don’t, they are strictly put on an art display within a retinal scanned locked display box for future generations to see what once free men used to play with.
