Finally got around to my first build.
This kit plus a PSA blem lower
Skipped some luxuries and started off the basic way. Didn’t use tape for protection. Didn’t use the mag block or vise. No ghost pins or front pivot pin tool. I have all of that but didnt use them. I did splurge and use the trigger guard tool.
Just these below and the razor blade trick.
No issues, no scratches or dings, no launched springs.
100% PSA except an end plate from Amazon.

I’ll give you a pass on using the word “build” since you assembled the lower. 
Honestly that’s true. After I actually watched a video of people doing a lower I don’t know why they call it “building”. But the words stuck even in my vocabulary now. It seriously is just “putting together”. No offense but I lost a lot of respect I had for AR guys I always thought it was an involved process until a few months back.

That is funny! - but true 
Now, the upper assembly might be more involved, but I’ve never done it… Buying a fully assembled upper is so much easier!
IMO-More like an assembly. A build sounds like a manufacturing process.
