Great, once I get done with the Dagger build, I’ve got to do an AR-V build. I’ve been back and forth on how they look since we released them, but that looks too good to turn down. Although, I prefer FDE.
@sabtaj1 is that the HBPDW? Have you had a chance to shoot with it yet? I’ve loved the look since they came out and would love some feedback. Im hesitant to step away from my SBA3’s but love the design of the SBPDW, this looks like a best of both worlds situation.
thank you for the links. i have 6 mags now, so i’ll need 2 of them at this rate… and probably to buy one more mag so there is one in it all the time while the two bandoleers are full of the mags.
The brace is super nice and very compact. I too have many sba3’s. I built a 5.56 pistol and used the same brace too. The brace is awesome, I have not had time to shoot either of them yet though. I picked up the KAW valley three lug mount and it will not work on the PSA tri lug barrel.
well, i’ve broke down and done it. here’s mine… its almost done… still deciding on the optic and the flash hider as the one i put on it isnt going to be permanent… kinda my take on a faux mp5 look.
Did you ever get a chance to shoot this and see how it runs? I want that brace, but I’m worried about functionality since the brace uses a proprietary buffer and the blow back AR-V uses a heavier buffer than normal.
I’ve already posted a picture of my AR-V but, since I’ve added a couple small items, I thought it would be fun to share updates. It still doesn’t approach the cool-factor of others’, but it’s a fun pistol for me!
Added a Burgarian (US-made) 4-piece flash hider - probably should have taken my time putting it on because I scratched it with a tool (I was too excited!). Other items include a new m-lok handstop plus a 2-point sling. I’m really enamored with my Sock-of-Protection for my red dot (associate with Cone-of-Silence for you Get Smart fans :^).
