Thatās about what it is here in Central Florida, $45 on average (including the $5 background check). Heard that thereās a LGS in the area that charges $75. They donāt even sell lowers of any kind. I guess they are trying to mark up the transfer fee so much that it makes their in house gun prices look more attractive.

So here is a recommendation for those of you paying more than $20ā¦find a local gun forum (and even the arfcom hometown forum if you cant find another one) and ask about transfers from ātabletopā or home based FFLs. They will probably be lower.
@SuperPredator is one such FFL and can give you guidance or more info. No one needs to pay $45/transfer.

Best thing I ever installed was the AR-Stoner 2-stage marksmanās trigger. Itās just such a great trigger, a joy to shoot that makes my M90 feel like a relic by comparison. That, coupled with the anti-walk pins and my ambi safety lever make that rifle handle like oiled glass.

I love a 2 stage trigger. I hate doing a build without one, but I have a couple of PSA match triggers that are going into my next builds. Maybe they can change my mind, right now I put LaRue 2 stage in everything.

Actually, thatās not even the highest I have heard of. I have a repeat customer who moved here from New Jersey. He was getting charged $50 for the transfer plus $35 for the background check. $85 for a transfer. Highway robbery.
