Trying to add a 6.5 Creedmoor upper to my PA-10 options currently have the 12.5" Upper (308) and an 18" (308) upper.
Do the Gen 3 PA-65 uppers enjoy compatibility with the Gen 2 PA-10 Lowers?
Yes.
With PSA, Gen 2 lowers added a “fence” around the top of the lower to make it more aesthetic. They also fixed the issues with some 2 stage triggers with the Gen 1.
Gen 3 lowers added bcg cuts into the buffer tube threading.
What brace are you using since you have the 12.5" 308 upper?
Also, make sure you mark your mags and uppers so you dont get confused. Colors work well.

Thanks for the response, when running the 12.5 I slip on an adjustable KAK Blade, I have pretty much all the braces and can run any, have ran the SBA3, and the SBPDW as well I like it but to run that I have to dedicate the lower as it’s too much work to swap. SBA3 is fine too but my blade is in OD and matches the color of the upper/lower receivers/ handguard.
I may just have to pick up the Gen 3 Lower… Dang it from your perspective is it worth it?

I no longer have multiple calibers on the same lower. I have seen too many kabooms from wrong ammo in the gun. $50-$100 for a lower is cheaper than a new gun and/or doctor/hospital bill.

Hey, hats the difference between a ps10 and a ps65…? I am waiting to buy a 6.5 Creedmoor but am confused by what others re telling me, they say I can use a ps10 lower but now I see Psa make a ps65, can anyone give me guidance on which one to purchase… thanks in advance.
Barrel. They make a lower that says 6.5c to help avoid confusion. Both use the same bcg and mags.
