Sorry I know this is AR-9 area but I was at Basspro and their used area with all the guns in the “Library” which was actually a Cabela’s thing. Anyway, they had a PA-9 for $299 bucks! I was like wow that seemed cheap, I started to buy it but thought I would ask here first. They also had a HK 419D 22LR for 299… Then it closed the used area before I got back to look again later after shopping.

My guess is it a) is a factory gun that needs a heavier buffer or b) and PSA lower with homebuild otger parts that didnt work right.

If the bolt is marked G4-9 visible through the ejection port I wouldn’t have a problem buying it if you like it and the way it’s equipped. Does it have any sort of optic on it? Break it open and look at the buffer length, if it has the extended length buffer already it’s probably gtg. Hell, take a small scale in with you and weigh the buffer separately, you want one about 8-9oz. Like buying any used gun, look it over for damage, burrs, abnormal wear, etc.

for 299 is a steal. even if you have to throw a buffer in it later. i’d go for it.
