Anybody have luck finding powder anywhere? Unique, Bullseye, Blue Dot, etc.//
Try the Hodgdon website. They’re selling a limited amount direct retail. I got #8 of Accurate 2700 and IMR 4955 both a little slower than I want but it’s powder at retail prices. They have some IMR 4166 up now. Keep checking, it changes all the time.
Thank you,
You’re welcome, it’s a full time job chasing down reloading components. Good thing I’m retired!! LOL
I suggest the bulletin board at your local gun range.
I bought a brick of Large Rifle Primers, boy did that come in handy.
I have a shotshell powder and a handgun powder listed myself.
Powder availability is hit & miss on the e-tailers’ websites. But sometimes they have stock.
You have to know exactly what you want and finish the purchase in a few minutes.
It’s like Vultures on Meth (or No-Doz) eating a starving calf. Everything is GONE after 15 minutes.
American Reloading has pistol powder in stock.
Hi Curtis,
Can’t find this in any reloading manual. Any idea what it is “like”?
Those guys sell mil surp so I would imagine that it’s a powder suited to 9mm and 45acp. Hodgdon has some pistol powder up today too, looks like it’s for big stuff like 44mag.
They say it’s like Winchester 572 so it sits in the burn rate chart at 47 right next to IMR/Alliant Blue and Accurate 7.
Natchez has some VV 310 ( very fast pistol ) , some 3N38 ( pretty slow but still usable in 9MM, 45 ACP ) , and some N110 ( 357, and 44 Mag ) in stock.
