With the current state of affairs a buddy at church and I are getting an active shooter response bag set up to donate to our church. This was put into action over a month back.
I could use some prayers for good decision making with what and how much to stock. 1.5 years as an EMT on a 911 ambulance, so not my 1st rodeo.

My church has a “safety committee” of which i am a part. SC law says anyone who wants to carry at church has to get approval. The church says anyone that wants to carry has to be a part of the safety committee. I stress regular practice and training

I’m avoiding any discussion on threat nutralization for legal reasons. Your advice is a good starting point.
I was discussing traua medical supplies for post incident treatment of injured people.
That would make a good thread. Anyone with first responder training and/or real life experiences would be good candidates to add to the thread. Ex military members on here as well might have real life experiences and tips.
Supplies both in a kit (bag) and onesies twosies on your person. Then techniques on those Supplies would make a good topic.
Just an idea that I believe in that I’d like the power of prayer behind.

Mom has been in rehab for a couple of weeks but she got to go home Monday,. She was already in independent / assisted living due to major health issues 20 years ago so she’s in good hands with them. She truly is a walking miracle. I’m going to tear up. Ahem Ahem
Now for all of you who have been praying and had mom on prayer list - thank you - thank you - thank you. From everything inside of me I’m extremely grateful to be in the same company as you. God bless you all.
The power of Prayer! This is wonderful news, I’m relieved to hear she’s OUT of the Hosp. and doing well on her way to recovery. Now she can be Home and get some real rest and relaxation. It’s a Beautiful time of year to be alive, birds are chirping, trees/plants and flowers are coming back to life and that sun shine is beaming down on US making for longer days, I love Spring! Very glad to hear your Momma is doing well

Giving my dad-in-law’s eulogy tomorrow. My family needs some support, we’re hurting. He was a phenomenal guy who lived an inspirational life. He cast a long shadow.
What a wonderful sentiment, to be able to give the eulogy for a wonderful and well respected man. Hug that Family and remember him and all his bloodline and accomplishments well. Prays for you as well as the Family on this one
