Well for any one having issues with the Gen 2, I created this thread for informational purposes. I had purchased the LR 308 20” rifle length gas system. Along with the PSA lower, I just could not get it to shoot any thing other than bottle rockets and blown primers. I ended up locking it away and moved on until some friends introduced me to long range shooting. Well I ended up determined to get my LR 308 to run. The good folks here guided me thru some trouble shooting scenarios and there input was invaluable. Much thanks to the board and most of all their patience @ Guitar Guy.I made some modifications to the buffer system as well as replaced the firing pin, installed the PSA adjustable gas block, and now I have a sweet shooting rifle with 1/2” MOA @100 yards. I’am by no means a seasoned sharp shooter, Actually a pistol armorer. I have plenty of bolt action rifles but never really got into the AR scene until!
