Psa ak-101 barrel assembly - furniture ready question?

I have a PSA AK-101 that has been solid so far through over 1k rounds and so now would like to get another one to play around with. So I’m leaning toward the PSA AK-101 BARREL ASSEMBLY - FURNITURE READY model so I can build it up into something of my very own. I know I will need to get a complete FCG with all the springs, pins, etc, and whatever bolts and screws for the rails, stock, and grip, but what else will I need? I’m leaning toward a Magpul pistol grip, so will I need to pick up a “T-nut” for the receiver? Anything else don’t know about needing?
I’ve tinkered with a couple of AKs a little bit in the past, but always started with complete guns before.

Thanks!
David

Thank you. And that sounds about right. I’ve been a member over at arfcom for 20 years this past week and I think I have between 450 and 500 posts over there.

Welcome to the forums @JustDave :cowboy_hat_face:

many stock kits come with the hardware needed to mount them. I dont know if grips come with the Tnut or not, but im leaning towards the no side on that. you’ll also need a cleaning rod if you want one of those. many guys do cause they think it looks naked with out one… or at least thats what i think. depending on what dust cover/ optic mount you run with you ay need to consider a optic for the rifle too. I’ve not researched the PSA barreled receivers versus what else is needed for completeing a rifle yet but i’d hope that they sell everything you need to complete it abolt and nut wise as a parts kit i’d hope… or at least have things available individually for those folks like you who buy the barreled kits. i’m curious as to how it goes for you as i have ike 3 sets of factory furniture laying around here and i either need to sell it or build rifles out of it best of luck.
